@alina I imported the model you provided with the link above. While importing I checked the box to import the material definitions as well. I noted that "PLA (Cerebellum)" -> "PVA (Cerebellum 2)" and "PVA (Cerebellum 2)" -> "PLA (Cerebellum)" were set as 8,7,8. I started the print and it behaves exactly as before with the splice setting not being applied and the splices breaking immediately. I suspect this is an issue with the heating. The splice core pauses for a while as if it was heating, and the fan turns on for an extended period for the cooling but the splices during a print do not come out like the splices during splice tuning.

Please check the KPLA (emphasis on the K!) to KPVA in my original link. They are 8,7,8. Make sure you are checking the box to import the material definitions when you import the model.

From what I am seeing it seems like I have set up my materials properly, even if you can't always see that. The issue seems to be the palette not applying the settings during the print.
