Yes it is showing up there and it says it is connected (with hub).

* Download a program called BalenaEtcher. https://www.balena.io/etcher/

* Antistatic precautions should be taken, but down to users preference. Remove main board of HUB and remove SD.

* Use SD card reader (Windows will show Unable to read - Format drive… DO NOTHING to SD card).

* Make sure you know the correct drive letter for your SD reader - BalenaEtcher creates a flash image, So be cautious - Double check! - it’s about 14GB.

* Install the BalenaEtcher - open program.

* Download the Canvas Hub zip file [abcd-ch-canvas-hub…] depending on version of hub you have.

* Follow simple steps in the BalenaEtcher.

* Place SD card back into unit and plug it all back in.

I will attach a picture that should show the lack of filament better along with a picture of the bottom of the purge block. There is no filament in the tube running from the palette to the extruder. There is filament still past the gears.

These extrusion issues only occur when printing from the palette. Printing a single color does not have the over/under extrusion issues. My bed is level and the extruder is calibrated for the proper esteps. Both these have been checked numerous times. I am not sure how much I can stress that I do not have these issues outside of using the palette 2.

The printer started as an Anycubic I3 Mega. I have replaced the stock board with a BTT SKR V1.4 Turbo and set it up as a direct drive. I have a Bondtech BMG extruder. I have included pictures of the Palette 2, your tube to it’s meeting with a smaller bowden tube (your tube would not stay on the hot end), the junction between that tube and the extruder.

I had a flawless start up with my A-350 and has been printing great once I saw the errors in my ways. find it helps to calibrate the bed before every print. I built my own Canvas Hub, can see it on left side z-axis of my machine, used a Pi 4b with 4gb Ram could go with the cheaper 2 or 1 gb models. If I can assist please message here.

I recommend the following before you attempt using the Palette.

1- Set up and test print bed. Snapmaker is aware of a level problem. I had some issued with that but there is a temp fix. I went with the 5x5 pattern, now takes a little longer to calibrate but I can get a good full size print.

2- Calibrate your extruder. mine was 14.8% low. made a big difference on even my basic prints, and bed adhesion.

3- Be comfortable with your Snapmaker and the controls first.

4 - If you are building your own Canvas hub download the. “change filament” plug-in for Octoprint it will make calibrating your Palette much easier as there is no manual feed control for filament that allows you to determine the amount of purge material. (I’m not sure what you can do with the Canvas Hub)
