on my Palette 3pro the output tube is 800 mm to my Prusa MK3S. the distance from my printer’s drive gear to the nozzle tip is 115mm saved on the printer settings.

It means that I should normally get 115mm of filament in order to put it in the extruder, but i only have 30mm which is not enough. I pull more manually.

How do I correct this, in order to have more filament output for initiating the print?

Good morning everyone,

I have a similar problem with my Prusa MK3S, I mount the 110 cm tube and my LO is 115 mm.

I can't do the Smart load because the filament doesn't come out of the tube.

There are about 20 cm (200 mm) left at the end of the tube and I imagine it has to come out about another 5 cm for it to be hooked by the extruder gear.

I tried to increase the length of the tube in the settings by entering a custom value of 140, 200 and finally 300 cm.

I think there is a problem at the firmware level by increasing this value the problem persists, there is always around 20 cm of filament missing.

I tried inserting the values of the other tubes supplied using them with the relevant tube.

Maintaining the same LO with the 57 (cm) tube the filament protrudes from the tube by approximately 6 cm, with the 80 (cm) one the filament protrudes by approximately 3 cm.

I'm sure there's something wrong with the firmware.

Is anyone available to do the same tests I did?
