Hi there, Thanks for getting in touch! 'd like to get a little more information from you for clarification, if that's alright. Which motor in your Palette were you looking to replace? Is the original not functioning as intended? If it isn't too much trouble, could you send me a video of the component in question so I can get a better idea of what the issue is? You can reach me at shane@mosaicmfg.com, or here if you prefer. Thanks for your patience, I hope I can have an answer for you soon!
Hi Michael, Sorry to hear you are encountering this issue with your P2, as well as for the delay in responding to your question. I'd be happy to help you out with this. I would like you to follow the instructions in this guide to try to reflash the firmware on your Palette, when you have a chance. Please get in touch here or send us an email at support@mosaicmfg.com if you have any questions or run into any problems with the firmware installation.
Hi Steven, Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately, this is not possible within Canvas at this time. However, if you are using PrusaSlicer with the P2PP plug-in, there is an option called "Purge Into Object" that is worth looking into. If you are interested in trying it out, I strongly recommend you check out the P2PP Community Help group on Facebook. They are incredibly helpful when it comes to getting your Palette up and running with P2PP. If you would prefer to stick with Canvas, there are some things you can do to minimize filament waste when printing with Palette. I hope this answers your question! Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at support@mosaicmfg.com if you need anything else!
Hi William, Apologies for the delay answering your question! I do not have a diagram of a P3P connected to a V400, but for the best experience you would want to remove the filament detector and connect the Palette's outgoing tube directly to your extruder/print head with a mounted extruder clip. Below you can see something similar to what you would need to do. This is an original Palette with a V400. As you can see there is a clip mounted on the print head to secure the outgoing tube. a P3P setup would look similar to this. I hope this was helpful. Please get in touch with us at support@mosaicmfg.com if you have any other questions!
Hi Peter, Sorry to hear you are encountering this issue. I'd be happy to help. Could you please share your canvas project with me so I can take a look? The share button is in the top right of the screen. Please select the boxes to share printer/style/material profiles before generating the link. Once you have the link, send it to shane@mosaicmfg.com and I will see what I can do!
Hi Tim, Apologies for the delay in answering your question! There are a few ways you can go about this. (1) You could open up Canvas in a second browser window and navigate to the Camera page there (2) You could enable Local Web Client under your Palette's Settings (only works inside the same subnet) (2.1) With this enabled, you can then go to http://<P3's IP>:5000, from there you can see your P3's device page and navigate to the camera screen (2.2) Keep in mind that this will only work when you are on the same subnet/wifi network and it may not work in larger network such as School / Library etc. Hope this was helpful! Please reach out to support@mosaicmfg.com if you need anything else!
Hi Richard, I apologize that you are not having an ideal experience printing so far. I'd be happy to help with this. This could be caused by a variety of factors, I think we will need some more information to narrow it down. So I can best assist, I would like to take a look at your Canvas project. You can share it with me by following the instructions at mm3d.co/canvas-sharing. Please select all boxes to share printer, style and material settings. You can then send the link to me at shane@mosaicmfg.com. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience. I look forward to hearing from you. Update (11/01/2023): Hi Richard, Sorry for the broken link, thank you for sharing that project! There are a few things jumping out at me here that I would like to adjust. I notice you are using side transitions on this print. As the misallignment begins at a color change, I'm wondering if we are having some skipping during that movement that leads the printer to move off course when returning to print the rails....
Hi Jeff, I'm sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I would be happy to help you with this. I just need a few things to get started. Could you please send me: Photos of your setup (Palette and Printer) Share both canvas projects, the one that is freezing as well as the keychain project, if you still have it. Make sure to select all boxes for style, printer and material profiles when sharing. Please send everything to shane@mosaicmfg.com, or reply to this post if you prefer. I apologize again for the inconvenience here and thank you for your patience. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi Parker, I'm sorry to hear that your Palette is not powering on. I would be happy to help you with this. I just have a few questions for you to help narrow down what could be causing the issue. Is the red light you are seeing flashing? Are you using the power cable that was included with your Palette? When you press the power button, is there any response at all from the device? If you could, please also include photos/video of your unit along with your answers. You can either respond here or email me at shane@mosaicmfg.com!
Ok, perfect, thanks for this info Jim! I'm sure we can get this resolved for you. Could you share your Canvas project with me please? I'd like to make sure the settings you have worked out have properly applied to the print. The share button is in the top right of the screen. Please tick all the boxes (material, printer, style settings) before sharing, as pictured below: You can send them to me at shane@mosaicmfg.com. Thanks again, Jim! Look forward to hearing from you.
