Introduction

This guide covers the control options available in the Gantry Controls tab. After reading this, you will learn how to:

  • Move the Gantry
  • Activate/Deactivate the Gantry
  • Reset the Gantry
  1. When Array's front door is closed, you can use the onscreen controls to reposition the gantry.
    • When Array's front door is closed, you can use the onscreen controls to reposition the gantry.

  2. Use the onscreen controls to activate or deactivate gantry Gantry will be inactive by default when powered on, or not engaged in an action. When gantry is inactive, Array will not begin any gantry jobs to start or store prints. Gantry will deactivate automatically if the door is opened, or if a gantry error occurs.

    • When gantry is inactive, the user is able to manually jog the gantry motors, or home the axes

    • Opening the door while gantry is in motion is not recommended. If gantry is interrupted during an action, it will need to be reset (see Step 3)

    • Use the Reset Gantry button to re-home and reset gantry to its default position.
