Error Code 43 does not cause the print to “Pause” as this says. It causes the print to error and stop. I keep getting error 43 “Unable to communicate with USB device”, Reset. error 10 minutes prior to a 28 hour long print completing. I have a P2 running on OctoPrint and a Prusa MK3S printer.

Hey Greg, are you up to date with Hub plugins and Palette fw?

I have the palette 3 pro and I am getting error 131. What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Jacob Byerline - Reply
Hey Jacob, P3 errors can be found at http://mm3d.co/p3errors, but this seems to be an issue with a broken splice or splice jam. Are you able to clear filament from your unit?
Jonny Yeu -
Really??? I had to buy mine. Also, had trouble finding a supplier that had spare parts, that shipped to PR. The sensors that you use are kind of fragile, so if you put in a filament and have to use any kind of force, it will damage the sensor. Still wondering why the buffer sensor got stuck??? Those sensors are really not the best. Also, you shipped me the Palette 2S, but you can’t ship me parts? No BUENO!!!

Hi Voctor, did you reach out to our team at support@mosaicmfg.com? We do provide spare parts if the unit is still under warranty: mm3d.co/p2warranty

Dear Mosaic Support,
I started getting the error 112 after clearing a filament jam and now the screen freezes whenever I try to print, or to calibrate the palette or perform splice tuning from the settings. The Palette is unresponsive and the only way to wake it up is to switch the power off and on again.
I cleaned all the 4 filament paths and the out drive and I am sure there is no small pieces of filament.
I followed one of the instructions posted by “Jonny Yeu - 11/10/2020” on this website and checked the status of the Homing switch from “Settings > About > Next > Next” on the Palette.
I found out that the Homing Switch status was “Pressed” whether there is a filament inserted or not.
Would you please advise what I should do next, and whether you can send me a replacement switch as suggested by the solution listed by Jonny Yeu - 11/10/2020 on your support website.
I have sent an email to your address (support@mosaicmfg.com), and attached some snapshots of the Palette 2 screen "About” status.

Hi Helge, please follow the steps in this support article: mm3d.co/fwupdate-issue

Hi Chris, please use the Motion controls (mm3d.co/Motion) to move a piece of filament through your unit to ensure that there's no debris blocking the filament path. Please also check the statuses of your switches by going to Settings > About > Next > Next on Palette's screen and checking that the statuses change properly with and without filament inserted. If you're still receiving this error afterwards, it is likely an issue with the homing switch, which is located under the cutter area, and we can send a replacement if needed.

112 Error clearing outgoing during startup, I am in the same boat….two prints and now it can not be used, and there isn’t any detailed level on how to troubleshoot the problem.
Chris Collins - Reply
Hi Allyson, this may be due to a broken homing switch, as it’s sending the wrong information to your Palette. On Palette’s menu, please go to “Settings > About > Next > Next” and check the status of the homing switch with and without filament inserted. If the status doesn’t change, please send us a message (support@mosaicmfg.com) and we can send you a replacement immediately.

Error code 112 says clean from homing switch. Nothing is there

Hey Voctor, there’s no way to start the outgoing and incoming motors are different times, but I would suggest re-running a Palette calibration using TPU (mm3d.co/calibrate-p2) and reviewing this blog post (https://www.mosaicmfg.com/blogs/news/pri...) if you’d like to print with flexible filament.
Jonny Yeu - Reply
Having problems with TPU, it keeps jamming somewhere between the two extruders (incoming and outgoing) seems that the outgoing extruder is not pulling the filament in time and it jams. Is there a way to strart the outgoing extruder before the filament gets to it and pulls the filament before the incoming extruder starts?
Voctor Diaz - Reply
Sorry to hear that, Jarrod! This may be related to your homing switch as it’s triggering improperly. Please send us a message at support@mosaicmfg.com with pictures of your homing switch and we can diagnose the issue.

The first time I go to use the Palette 2S it gives me a 112 Error … Please manually clear filament from homing switch. WTF. How do I clear something that hasn’t been used yet. Are there any instructional repair videos available please.
Thanks
Jarrod
