Array Best Practices Checklist

These actions are best practices before starting Array operations, or resuming operations after an error occurs.

Storage Cart

• The bed feeder is clear of any parts, skirts and other extrusion material.
• Through the screen menu for editing beds, the number of beds saved is > 0

• Storage cart area for finished prints still has room for additional beds and their prints
• Check that the storage cart is installed fully. Note: if dislodged, gantry won’t start

• Check that at least 1 idle Element printer is ready to receive print jobs. Note: if all printers are offline or inactive, printing will not proceed

• The front door needs to be closed to enable gantry movements

• Projects are using material profiles and colors matching what is installed on Array. Learn more about managing material profiles.

1. Input has material profile selected, this material is loaded in a Material Pod on Array
2. Input has color selected, this color is loaded in a Material Pod on Array
3. The input is used to color the model

• Prints are ready to be sent to Array and are in the queue

• The indicator light is green. Note: Red will indicate if the storage cart is not installed, the door is open, or if there is a gantry error
• Check for warnings in red text on Array’s front screen. Note: These can point to storage being almost full, not enough empty beds, etc.
