Home XY using the on-screen controls, under Controls > Printer
-
The Print Head should move all the way to the back, then all the way to the right, then to the left of the densifier, finishing in the position pictured. See Step 4 for a video of correct homing
-
Turn the motors on and off under Controls > Printer> More, then manually move the print head to a different position on the bed, before homing XY again
-
Repeat the last step from different positions on the bed to thoroughly test XY homing
-
If the Print Head homes incorrectly from any point continue to Steps 2 and 3, and contact support@mosaicmfg.com for assistance
-
-
-
Turn the printer off, and move the Print Head manually to the front
-
As the Print Head reaches the very front, check the carriages on either end of the rail. They should contact the belt tensioning blocks at the same time. If so, proceed to Step 3.
-
If one side contacts sooner, this indicates the gantry is misaligned. The belt tensioner on the opposite side should be loosened, until both sides contact the tensioning block at the same time
-

If the XY belts are too tight or loose, this will cause XY homing errors
-
Follow our full Tensioning Belts Guide to check and tension the belts

-
After making any changes to the gantry alignment or belt tension, re-test XY homing following Step 1 again.
