Power Options
Power Switch
- Best practice: Stop all ongoing jobs by selecting Element(s) in Canvas and either ‘Cancel and deactivate’ OR ‘Finish and deactivate’
- Power off Array using switch
Emergency Stop
- To initiate an emergency stop, please press the red button located by the front screen of Array
- This will cause Array to stop its current operation and completely power down the Array. Rotate the power switch to the off position
- Once the Array is safe to power on, twist the emergency stop to release, and then rotate the power switch to the on position
- The emergency stop is only intended for exceptional situations, and using these regularly can cause damage to the electrical and mechanical systems
Status Indicator Lights
The Array status light is a curving LED light on the top-left corner of the machine
Green: The system is operating as expected, no operator intervention is required
Yellow: The system is operating as expected, operator intervention will be required soon to ensure the system continues running with the highest level of throughput
Red: The system requires operator intervention to continue production on all active printers
Door Sensors and Behavior
Front door
- Opening the front door will automatically pause the gantry, and the printers will continue to operate
- Important: Avoid opening the front door while Array is placing or retrieving a bed from Element.
Rear doors
- Opening either of the rear doors will not stop the operation of the gantry or the printers
- Do not remove the Storage Cart without first initializing the uninstall procedure on the back screen
