Introduction
If you experience a gantry error message or if the gantry stalls or becomes idle, please collect as much of the following information as possible to send to support@mosaicmfg.com.
Share System Status and Initial Observations
- Note network connection status (Front Screen: Settings > Network).
- Log date and estimated time of the failure. This will help with searching for relevant information in the crash report.
- If an error message occurs, please note or take a photo of the on-screen error message.
- Send a crash report. This is available if Array is connected to the Internet. (Front Screen: Settings > About).
- Note which Elements are inactive or offline, and if any Element’s status has been changing intermittently.
Visual Inspection and Resetting Array
If possible, what job/action on Array was attempted last? To help us identify the action taken, please try to describe the following:
- Does the end effector have a bed on it?
- If Yes, is the bed empty or has a part on it?
- What is the position of the bed in relation to Array? Take photos of the error state. Is the bed fully or partially in the storage cart, fully or partially in an Element, fully or partially on the end effector, or a combination of the above?
- Note and/or take photos of the subsystems in their error state: the position of end effector along the gantry axes AND the position of the end effector stage.
- Check for any loose beds on the Elements, gantry/end effector BEFORE removing them and setting them aside. Do not insert these beds into the storage cart manually, put them aside for when you are ready to uninstall the storage cart and complete a bed replenishment.
- Reset Array by powercycling. Turn Array off, wait 5 seconds, and turn on again.
Resetting Element
- Powercycle that individual printer by unplugging and replugging power.
- After powercycling, clear any remaining filament from the material pod output to the printhead.
