I don’t know about the 2 Pro, but on the 2 (S) the center cover screw hole does not align with the hole in the chassis, so this step is apparently not the same between the two versions.
Along with the additional buffer switch, there is also an additional drive arm for the outbound filament.
I found it. I must have completely skipped over the last informational box
This is a helpful guide, but I have a question about the setting. What determines a color’s “strength” as referenced in this statement, “The transition length that is used between these filaments will be adjusted based on the two colors' strengths.”
I have been running a few other sample prints to try to tune the calibration, but I have never seen a question asking me if I want to save the results. Did something change?
In Chroma I do not see this setting anywhere: “Re-Calibrate Printer with Palette and choose I already have values. “ Canvas is not an option for me because I do large prints that are around double the maximum file size that you allow.
Don’t get me wrong, the Palette is a great concept and solves a huge problem. That being said, I never saw one note on any product page that talked about webcam functionality. As a potential customer at the time, I would have no reason to look in support documentation. If I would have known, this information would have been enough to convince me to go with the Palette 2 S instead. I do large scale prints that take many days to print, and now I am stuck with either retrofitting my old Pi or coming up with another solution just for a video feed, neither of which I expected to have to do when I bought your product.
Is there no plugin to enable my webcam on the Hub (not S version)? I am wondering why not, unless the pi zero is just not powerful enough to handle it.
Is it not possible to build the firmware update function into the device? Even my sound system can download and install firmware updates, so this feels very low tech. At least it seems like a reasonable enhancement for a future version.
Why does my webcam not function with the Canvas Hub? I have an existing Pi that works just fine with the same camera. If this is actually a loss in functionality being caused by the Canvas Hub, I don’t understand why the company would sell product that is inferior and proprietary to just providing the plugins and instructions for OctoPi.
