  1. Please note the orientation of the SD card when inserting into Palette. When you're looking at Palette's screen, the Mosaic Logo should be facing you when inserting into your Palette. Please also check that the lock is off.

    • We also want to check that the MAF file was processed and transferred correctly. Please re-slice and download the MAF file to your SD card and try to load it to your Palette 2.

    • To check if this is an SD card issue, please re-format your card and reload the files. Please also check the MAF file on other SD cards.

  2. If you're still not able to read the files properly, we can check the connection of the SD card reader to the electronics tray as a last resort. Please follow these steps to remove Palette's bottom casing and access the electronics board. Unscrew the top electronics board to access the blue ribbon that you see in the picture below.

    • We want to test the connection of this ribbon, so please pull this ribbon up and out, then replace it to see if this helps with the SD card issue.

where do i find the files for this sd card because the palette i got did not come with an sd card. is it even needed to use the palette?

Apologies for any confusion. The P2 SD card would not contain any files when received, only Palette+ SD cards would contain demo files. P3 does not have a SD card, but rather a USB drive that also does not contain any files.

I followed all of the steps, and did a factory reset. My P2S Pro read the same file from the same card a few days ago and now it will not. I have formatted the card, resliced the files, tested the card on other devices (reads fine). The Palette can tell when no card is present, then it says no files found when it is. I re updated the firmware, dont know what other options I have. This is cool but frustrating, works one day, no changes, doesnt work the next?

Hey Nick, just checking if you re-formatted the card as fat32?

I tried several formats but am formatted as fat32 now and have better luck with that. But I literally had it working, finished a print, then went to start another, and no files found. Nothing else changed in the unit. I also find the screen, or system freezes up or has the buttons disabled regularly. It's hit or miss when I turn it on if it will read files. I can power cycle it over and over then one time it randomly works, next time it may not.
