I've recently started with the palette 2 and have printed 4 calibration key chains. They all were successful. I then printed the 4 color earbud holder also a success. I then printed one model I panted with canvas also success except a support failed and made it a little rough on that part. I then tried another print with 3 colors. I was monitoring it while it was printing from canvas hub. The ping rates 60 of them were all above 100 except ping 5 & 6 that were 98 and 96. All pongs were over 100. When the print was at 88% finished I went to check on it and I noticed no more filament in the tube for the palette. I quickly put the final color directly into the printer and it finished except for a missed layer from when it was out. While canvas hub was showing 93% the palette gave the finished message. I pressed ok and then called it a success because the colors were fine. I may have been wrong to do that because of the runout but I did it anyway. I ran to the back to save the pings into a file and canvas hub said it wasn't connected to the palette. I hit connect and it did but of course it showed no pings or print. Oh forgot to say it is a octoprint with canvas add on's per instructions. My question is are the high pings what caused it to run out or something else. It was just strange that moments before I clicked on finish print and save it was communicating with canvas hub but right after I hit it canvas said no connection. Just wanted to know if I could get some guidance on it. Otherwise it has worked perfectly for me for those 6 prints before I really consider this one a success also because it was only one layer messed up the colors were perfect. Thanks for your help.
