Just a comment about my experience with Palette2.
So far the experience has been 98% flawless with both Palette2 & Canvas.
I am a experienced user & have several printers [mk3s with mmu, a custom one i built from scratch & a cheap delta which i am modifying at the moment].
I also have the palette+ & was very slow in my purchase of the Palette 2 but am very glad i have now done it.
My palette+ has always had lots of issues with failed components & splices breaking [3 electronics tray replacemets & then a full replacement of the Palette+] but the support from Mosaic team has been been amazing.
I have the prusa mmu2 dialed in & get reasonable results with. it after lots of mods to remove friction...but thats another story.
The Palette2 has been completely the oppisate so far. Day 1 setup was quick & immediately the calibration prints were perfect so i decided to colour a model in Canvas & try it. The result was 98% perfect & the pings & pongs have been at 100% out of the box. The printer i have used so far is just my custom built one & the extruder is 99.9% accurate. From my reading of forum posts this is the most crucial factor. So far i have only used the Palette2 in accessory mode & intend to try it in connected mode soon but as the results have been great i am in no rush. I have not tried multiple material types yet.
I must add that the Pallete+ results with canvas was not good & in general the device is not great. This is why i was slow in my decision to purchase..
I am extremely happy with the Palette2 & recommend it to other prospective buyers. Just make sure your printer is setup properly & get your extruder calibrated to be as accurate as possible.
