    Hey Dory, if the provided Teflon tube clip doesn't work, we have a number of user made clips (https://www.thingiverse.com/MosaicResources/collections/palette-2) and a guide on how to create your own clip (http://mm3d.co/p2extruder-clip).

    Taking a look at the Sidewinder design, you should be able to attach the supplied clip using velco to the highlighted area and have Palette's tubing feed filament into the extruder:

    Depending on the distance from the tube to the hot end, you can add a slight Bowden tube length to ensure that your printer has enough filament at the end of your prints (http://mm3d.co/bowden).

    You can definitely place a piece of filament in the sensor to bypass it or we've had other users with similar issues simply unplug the sensor from their printer.
