Hey Neal, no need to apologize! CANVAS will not recognize the MMU2 upgrade at this time, but we do have plans to support this in the future.

Also, at this moment, you'd be unable to daisy-chain Palettes into an MMU to create precise, calibrated prints. This setup would be possible if you wanted to create a randomized color effect, but Palette will only work with a single extruder at this time. We do have plans of enabling multi-tool GCode in CANVAS in the future as well.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks. I saw a video with the 3D Printing Nerd and I was very interested, thinking about the vision for your company and product.

It isn't supported yet but in the meantime, I will try things out and I will be watching. I hope to be one of the first to try it out when the new features are added.

You offered to answer further questions. I know the answer is no, but let me ask anyway.. Can you daisy chain Palettes into another Palette to get 7, 10, 13,  or 15 colors instead of only 4? In my opinion, that would be really cool because there would always be somebody who can use your extra hardware if you no longer needed it and if you wanted to sell it. In my mind, a video demonstrating how to daisy chain Palettes together would make everybody who sees it want to use that system. I know I've never seen anything like that.

    Thank you.

Hey Neal, daisy-chaining Palette's would provide similar results as placing a Palette with the MMU2 as you'll be able to produce randomized prints but you'd be unable to produce any precise, calibrated prints. We tried to feed pre-spliced filament back into Palette and it helped to create a neat rainbow effect: http://mm3d.co/unicorn

Okay. So, no master and slave configurations working yet. I imagine it could add significant time to the print. Thank you for the example shown.
