Hey Seth, please ensure that you've selected the proper Runout Detection option. You can find this under Settings > Preferences and you can select the option to switch to the next drive.

Did it not detect or did it do what is happening to me and hold little to no filament in the buffer, so when run out is detected it does not have enough time to splice the new filament together (when I use input 1 & 2 the time it takes to unload input 1 it has already hit the end of the buffer.

It is definitely not holding enough in the buffer to allow time for a splice.  I wasn't there when the first spool ran out so I'm not certain what it did.  I came back to find that it was print air as all of the filament had been used.  The Palette 2 did not appear to have tried to splice.  I will check my settings and report back.

I verified that the runout detection is set to "Splice Next Drive".  Recorded a quick video of the issue.  The Palette 2 does not do anything when the first drive runs out.

First filament switch seems dead,if you noticed it does not even trigger (blue light on it should turn on).

Yeah, I noticed that after posting. I will try using drives 2 and 3.

    Jonny,
In the mean time is there something I can do to fix the run out switch on drive 1?
Should I put in a support ticket?

Hey Seth, if the filament switch for input 1 is broken, I can send you a replacement immediately. Could you please take a picture of this switch and send it to us at support@mosaicmfg.com? Please also include your mailing address and we can get a replacement sent.

What sort of picture do you need?
Just a picture showing that the light for the drive is not on with filament loaded?

A close-up of the actual switch would be helpful, similar to this:

With some extra troubleshooting suggestions in the reply to my email I was able to fix the issue.
End up being the connector for the switch came loose.
