    Hi John, this issue occurs because the 5th Gen Makerbot printers are not currently compatible with Cura as a slicer. You would only be able to use either Simplify3D or Slic3r to create files for your printer. We have support articles that can help you get set up for either slicer:

    Slic3r: http://mm3d.co/slic3r-5thgen
    Simplify3D: http://mm3d.co/simplify3d-5thgen

    Hi Michael, could you please share your file with us? Also, in your printer profile under advanced settings, what is the File Type that you're selecting?

    Hey there, please check that your origin set to 'Middle' instead of 'Bottom-left' and process the file again.

    @Jonny

    I set the origin to the middle, and it started printing but the filament wasn't going down to the print surface. It seemed it was either too far away and was sticking to the nozzle tip or it clogged itself or something. Also the printer wasn't making the normal print sounds it usually does when it was moving.

    Hi @Zsandstrom00, could you please share your GCode file with us? You can send it to jonny@mosaicmfg.com. I'm thinking that it may be an issue with the temperature if it is not extruding properly at the beginning of the print.
