First and foremost, thank you! We appreciate your support and can't wait to see what you'll create with your Palette. If this is your first time using Palette 2 (Pro), please read the following articles suggested below.
I am getting started with Palette 2
These are recommended articles for when you're unboxing Palette 2. This will cover firmware updating, printer setup, slicing, and how to complete the first print.
I'm ready to start multi-color printing
You finished your first print and it looks great! Where do you go from here? If you'd like to print a model that has already been split into multiple parts and is ready for multi-color prints, you can try a small-medium size print from our Thingiverse page. If you have a single-body stl file that you'd like to split into multiple parts, our CANVAS Paint feature allows you to paint directly onto the model and have it automatically prepared for multi-color printing. Lastly, if you're using another slicer besides CANVAS, you can use MeshMixer to separate a single-color print into multiple parts for Palette.
I'm ready to get started with multi-material printing
You have a collection of great looking multi-color prints and are ready to take Palette 2 to the next level. Learn what multi-material combinations are possible with our multi-material guide, how to tune splices so they create a strong bond during printing, and add material profiles in CANVAS.
These articles will help you understand how Palette works and how to optimize filament usage.
