No, CANVAS is browser-based and requires an internet connection. We do recommend giving it a try because of how much it simplifies the multi-material slicing process.
I don't want to slice in the cloud. What are my options?
Use Chroma (mm3d.co/chroma): By slicing in another slicer (it works with the most popular slicers like Cura, Simplify3D, Slic3r) and then running the g-code file through Mosaic Chroma software. It accepts a multi-tool g-code file and produces a file that Palette can understand (e.g. Drive 1, 200mm; Drive 2, 100mm). Chroma can be used offline if you prefer to keep things that way.
Chroma will work on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
