This article will help you navigate the slicer when you have a project open.
Naming Your Project
When starting a new project, it will automatically name this project 'New Project' unless you upload multiple files with similar file names. To change or update the project name, click ‘New Project’ (or other project name) at the top right portion of the webpage to edit the name. Click Save.
Edit Printer or Style Profile for the Project
If you would like to edit your Printer or Style Profile once you’ve started a project, hover over either the printer name or style name under your project name. You'll see a gear icon appear. Clicking this icon will allow you to edit your Printer or Style Profile.
When you save changes to the Printer Profile, this will save the printer settings globally. If you start a new project with this printer after editing the Printer Profile, those settings you changed will be used.
When you save changes to the Style Profile through this method, it will only affect new projects. Existing projects using this Style Profile will not be saved with the new settings (your existing projects won’t break). If you select an existing Style Profile through this method, this will override your current print settings (under the Settings screen).
Note: To ensure that the settings you use are effective for the print, the changes must be made on the Settings button, as part of the slicer workflow.
