I have PLA from the same manufacturer but some colors print better 5C hotter. I have set up the appropriate temperatures in Matl profile and selected the 2 different Matl profiles but Chroma deletes the temperature entries.
From: Ensure that the “Select new Ext & Warm” field includes only a toolchange command (e.g. “T<EXT+0>”) I feel like I need to call M104 S<TEMP> T<EXT+0> but Chroma doesn't like that. I tried in the pre heat tab but Chroma deletes it.
I cant understand what I am doing wrong. Where can I learn about why Chroma deletes things and find out how to set different temperatures properly?
Hi Ccc Ssss, Chroma will delete any command other than the active tool, which is usually T0. We need the tool ID to be set to T0 for all temperature commands so T<EXT+0> would not be recognized. The temp command of 'M104 S<TEMP> T0' would work in this case.
Great thanks Jonny code looks better now. It took me a while to realize 'M104 S<TEMP>' had to go in the “Select new Ext & Warm” field because the instructions say only include a toolchange command (e.g. "T<EXT+0>") in that field.
My “Select new Ext & Warm” is now:
T<EXT+0>
M104 S<TEMP> T0
It's working now Chroma is honoring the temp changes. The Palette2 is a pretty awesome machine!
Great to hear! Thanks for the kind words, and please let us know if you experience any other issues (support@mosaicmfg.com).
