Ventilation Safety
Please read all safety instructions and familiarize yourself with Palette prior to setup and use. Failure to comply with these warnings and instructions may result in fire, equipment damage, property damage, and/or personal injury.
Within Palette 2's Splice Core, the heater element is coated in Teflon which can sometimes, if exposed to extreme heat, emit toxic fumes. During the QC process, these fumes will have been exposed to temperatures to cause the fumes to be exhumed, but there is a rare possibility that Teflon pieces remain.
If this occurs, please ensure that there is proper ventilation and that you do not inhale these fumes. If there are remnants of Teflon on the heating element, fumes will usually occur for a few heating cycles and should clear afterwards.
