Multi-Color
- Allows for multi-color prints with precise in-layer color changes.
Splice Demo
- With Printer - Produces multi-color filament in sync with a printer's filament usage. Use this mode to produce a layer print.
- Without Printer - This mode will simply keep making filament. This is great to inspect your splice quality.
Utilities
- Clear Output - Clears filament from your Palette+'s output.
- Preheat - Heats your hot tool in preparation for a print.
- Unload Inputs - Allows you to unload filament from specific drive.
- Jog - Manually push filament through any drive. Used for clearing Palette+.
- Splice Tuning - Allows you to fine-tune splicing parameters for multi-material printing.
- Diagnostics - Test to ensure all Palette+ systems are working as intended.
Calibration
- Printer Calibration - Use this mode when you are calibrating your printer with your Palette+.
- Splicer Distance - This procedure checks that the position of the hot tool is correct in your Palette+.
- Steps per Count - Used when re-calibrating.

Preferences
- Sounds (On/Off/Menu Only) - Turns the sound of Palette+'s pings on or off.
- Ambient Heat (On/Off) - Positions the hot tool closer to the hot tube to maintain 50 degrees. If you turn this feature on, make sure it’s also on when running Splice Tuning.
- Cooling time (3-9 seconds) - Adjusts the time the splice cools after heat is applied. Default of 3 seconds.
- Extra 1st Heat (0-5 seconds) - Adds extra heat on the first splice if the splicer tube is not warm enough. You will not need this if ambient heat is on.
- File Order (Date, Name) - Arrange the order of your files.
- Logging (On/Off) - Saves text files to the Palette+ SD card which records the Ping and Pong offset history of your print.
- Reset Tube - Resets the number of splices done. This should be reset when replacing the splice block. Learn more here.
System Info
Has information on: Firmware Version, Splice Distance, SPC (Steps per Count), # of Encoders, Temperature, Opto status, Tube Length, # of Splices, Total Length, and Calibration Values.
Print Menu
Statistics
- Ping Offsets - Last 10 Ping offset values.
- Pong Offsets - Last 10 Pong offset values.
- Filament Used - Amount of filament used per drive.
Change Filament
- Follow on-screen instructions to swap filament on a specified drive.
Cancel Print
- Follow on-screen instructions to cancel a print.
