Change Filament Feature

Palette/Palette+'s Change Filament feature further extends your printer's capabilities. You can now pause a print and swap filament from your Palette's inputs. This allows you to swap a spool of filament that is about to run out, or even add more than 4 colors to your print!

To change your filament during a print, click on Palette's dial to access the print menu where you can select the Change Filament option.

From here, simply follow the instructions on Palette/Palette+'s screen. Once you select which drive you would like to change, Palette/Palettes+ will ask you to pause your printer.

After pausing your printer, Palette will prompt you to load the selected drive with the new filament. Once Palette detects the new filament, it will reheat Palette's hot tool to the desired printing temperature and will inform you when it's time to resume printing on your printer.
