1.75mm single color test print

With the following steps we will be verifying that the conversion kit to 1.75mm was properly installed and tuning any slicer settings before moving towards printing with the Palette 2. It is strongly recommended that you complete at least one print on your printer using regular spooled 1.75mm filament before moving on to working with Palette and this printer.

a) Click here (coming soon) to launch a new project in CANVAS with a test print keychain configured for the Ultimaker 2+ with 1.75mm filament. If you do not have a CANVAS account, you will be prompted to create one.

b) Review the model and print settings and then press 'Slice'. Review the print preview and then download the Gcode.

c) Using the single .gcode file generated from CANVAS commence a print on your Ultimaker using your regular workflow without the Palette 2. Since the Gcode is not from Cura, the printer may give you a warning that you can ignore.

d) If necessary, tweak your style settings on CANVAS and repeat the print. For a better idea of what different parameters are used for, simply hover over the field with your cursor and you'll be provided with a brief explanation of the setting:
