(1) I would love to see a mobile app that connects with canvas so I can receive push notifications when an error has occurred or my print is complete just like I was able to do with octoprint and printroid. Another option would be to enable email notifications. (2) I would like the option to power off (or turn on a standby mode) the Palette from the website. (3) I would like have the option to turn off the screen and the LED lights while the unit is running.
Thank you very much for this. I just updated my palette to 22.03.29.0 and was having nothing but unknown errors. I didn't even think that the firmware could've been the issue. I reverted it back and was able to print again.
My biggest pain point about the Palette 3 is the lack of OctoPrint support. Prior to getting the Palette 3, I never used in SD card because I used OctoPrint. Now in order to do single color prints, I will either need to connect to my OctoPrint unit or start using an SD card. This seems like a pretty poor design choice and/or lack of understanding of how people use their equipment.
I'm having the same issue as well. Multimaterial prints send just fine, however single material prints always throw an error 500 when trying to send from Canvas to my Palette 3 Pro. On a separate note, I'm a little frustrated to learn that there are 2 places where error 500 may occur which causes some confusion between us as users and Palette support. Isn't the whole idea of error codes to be able to distinguish exactly what issue is occurring?
