UPDATE: Prusa MK4 in combination with the P3P Hi, I connected the P3P with an USB C Cable and i was able to controll the printer. (move axis, controll the fan, ... ) Now I print a File from the USB Stick (MK4) an i See the temperatur in https://canvas3d.io/ - so the connection is working! Now I'm not sure if I can just "throw" an STL onto the cloned MK3S profile or if I need to adjust something. (except the length from head to nozzle--> Loading Offset (LO) should be 131mm) Is there anything to consider? Because the calibration is completely different than with the mk3s? Should i Copy the Start G-Code from Prusa Slicer to canas3d.io Printer Setting into the copied MK3S Printer!? Prusa Profile Canvas3d.io -> Printer Settings THX 4 support!
I set the Gap Fill down as low as possible. The Gap Fill was 0.4 and I tried it with 0.1 mm this is the smallest you could set. And I still get gaps. :-/ Canvas do a bad job here. I tried to print only one layer of the model (lot of STL Files but everything in one color) and sliced it with prusa slicer. And I had no gaps at all.
the automatically created support structure does not even touch the object to be supported. - so it's useless. I thought it was a display problem in canvas. Now it like printing without support.
I steped back to v3.9.xx with the MK3. Now it doesn´t start printing alone. Filament is loaded - the Printhead goes to 0:0 and then everything stops. The first time i didn´t recognise the MK3 display. I thought it stopped and the print “died”. So I cleaned the p3p and the prusa and restart it. Same result -> then I saw on the screen “Waiting for User”
Is this also a problem because of the new MK3 firmware? - Both of the “stripes” are under the chin of a sheep. I printed 2 small and one big sheep at once. (for the white i need a longer transition distance to get it clear) First I thought it was an error of the slicer - i zoomed into the 3d Model in Canvas but there was all white. I´m not sure. Or is it a calibration Error? But then it would happend more often, or?
I have something like “missing extrusion paths”!? This gaps I only have when I print with the Prusa MK3S and P3P connected with USB and File sliced in canvas. I had to print several version of the parts - because of the fitting. - an they appear randomly on the parts - not always on the same place. (The six I´ve printed 4 times) When I print it with prusa slicer with out P3P the surface is perfect. Sample Picture - Spareparts for a clock learning game for kids:
I have the same issue. My P3Pro is connected through wire! - In the status (on P3) everything is green and connected. But i could not send it directly from the canvas.
WIRKLICH LAUT!! - fettes Minus!
What should I do when my splices are too thick (up to 1,9mm - most of the time 1.85mm). Your recomondation is? “opposite is true” - > so… -> Increase the heat, decrease cooling? THX
I have got an Error 130 - the Filament slipped out. :-(
Feature request:
If an Error 130 occur - bring the print head to a safe position - leave the bed temp on level.
At least for 30-60 minutes. The user could fix the filament and press a button on the screen - resume. Heat up the print head - let the user clear the nozzle. And resume the print!
Hi, I dowloaded the Download alternate release alt-21.12.07.0 (For Prusa Mini and Prusa Mk3 v3.10.x) - copied to an usb-stick an start the update process. After 2-3 hours nothing happens. — The scree shows rotating arrow “Applying Update…”
Is it possible to recover the print from an Error? Example a Timeout Error like 130/131 - if I put the Filament back into the postion? That the print could resume.
Hi! When do you add support to the Prusa mk4?
Please provide some examples with pictures.
