Slice a single-body STL model in CANVAS or preferred slicer. Transfer the G-Code file to your printer.
-
-
-
Turn on Palette 2 and select Print Modes.
-
Select Pattern, then tap Next.
-
Enter the length that you would like to be used for each input drive. The length you select for each drive will be repeated throughout the print. Enter the number of times the pattern will repeat.
-
We suggest creating a pattern that has a total filament length that is slightly longer than the model's filament length to ensure that you'll have enough filament to finish the print. You can use a website like http://gcode.ws to find the filament length of your print.
-
-
-
Select the Start With Printer option.
-
The Start Without Printer option will continuously create filament without waiting for an extruder to use the filament. This allows you to feed the spliced filaments onto a spool.
-
Follow the on-screen instructions to load filament and begin the print.

I have the same problem with my Palette 2 and Palette 2Pro, one of my segments 47.000mm , I would have to keep pushing for a couple of days. lol ;-)
Please add centimeters or even meters, since some of the prints are huge... so we have the option change the setting.
Thank you
Hey Alex, we don't have any plans to make adjustments to P2's firmware, but if you do have a long length like this, it may be easier to use Canvas's Stamping feature to paint your object at the color changes.
In a year ???
As mentioned in our e-mail thread, it will likely be later this year.
I have a Palette 2S. One of my segments is 30000 mm. I would have to hold the button down for quite a long time to execute this segment since the increments are in mm. My Palette 3 Pro has the increments in cm. How do I change my Palette 2S to cm for easier execution of pattern prints ?
