Hub shows solid light and doesn’t appear in available networks

I was following the instructions from “connecting to Canvas Hub S” and when I select Network Connection and try to connect to my home network the connection fails. Says no response from server. When I look at the hub, it is no longer slow-blinking.

I have already tried a factory reset using balenaEtcher to rebuild the micro SD card, but the same thing happens.

Update (03/22/2021)

This isn’t what I would call great service. Waiting 4 days for tech support is pretty bad.

Now, 3 days later, the hub has started showing up. But it disappeared again when I tried to set it up in network connections.

Hey @robyale, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble. Were you able to connect the Hub to your home network via network connections? After you connect back to your home network, the Hub’s hotspot will disappear. You can then access the Hub page via the web address (xxxx-ch-canvas-hub.local/, where xxxx is the serial number of your Hub) or the Hub’s IP address.

If you were not able to connect the Hub to your home network, and you don’t see its hotspot even after a factory reset, please email us at support@mosaicmfg.com with your shipping address and receipt so we can initiate an exchange for you. Thanks for your patience with this.

I did an IP scaN of my network and found the hub on a 192.168.x.x address.

now I’m having problems with the Palette 2 pro s. I get error 112, and it wants me to clear out the home switch. I don’t know how to do that.

Hey Rob, this usually means there is a piece of filament stuck in the path around the homing switch (the switch underneath the splice core). Please take off Palette's top cover, acrylic covers (remove black thumbscrews), and remove any leftover filament in the path. You can use the guide here (mm3d.co/p2replace-switch) to help you with accessing the path.

But do you have Canvas Hub? After turning Canvas Hub, Palette and my printer back on, I was having a hard time reconnecting and seeing the canvas hub network in my pc's connections. Now I find Canvas Hub much easier by typing the I.P. of my network http: //192.168.1.x, which I found by opening my network in the modem and staring, instead of typing http: //xxxx-xx-canvas-hub.local. Maybe you can use this experience of mine!

Light as Alina says for me also indicates a piece of filament inside an interruption. Open plexglas and remove it.
