Canvas fails to output single walled element of model

I am preparing to print the well known multi material Optimus Prime model from Thingiverse on my Palette 2S Pro and Prusa MK3. The model slices very well in Simplify3D, even when I reduce the model down to 30% size (see photo). However when I slice the model in Canvas, the thin black border around the eyes fails to render at any scale less than 85%. Why is that? There is clearly enough room in that empty gap to extrude a single wall element. I’ve attempted reducing my extrusion width as a test, and that does not seem to help.

Johnny, if you or anyone else at Mosaic wants to help with this, feel free to open the Optimus Prime project in my Canvas account. TIA.
