Hey @myron, thanks for reaching out. You can apply our standard style profile to your printer profile for your project settings (i.e. layer height, extrusion multiplier). For the printer profile itself, the 3 main tabs you have to worry about are extruder, bed, and firmware. Under extruder, your nozzle diameter is 0.4 mm, your filament diameter is 1.75 mm, and please input the length of your Bowden tube. Under bed, you can choose rectangular, bottom-left origin offset, and please input your bed size. Under firmware, please choose “gcode” as file output and “5D Absolute” for firmware. Hope that helps!

Comments:

I assumed “standard style profile” was the same as “blank profile”. Please correct me if I am incorrect. I am using a Bondtech BMG-M Extruder and a Mosquito Hotend. From what point to what point do I measure for the length of a Bowden tube. Sorry, I am new to 3d printing.

@myron No problem! Yes, you are correct - if you select "blank profile" for your style profile, the standard one will be applied. You can start with these settings, and adjust based on your print results. You can find the style glossary here (mm3d.co/styleglossary), which should be helpful. I would suggest starting with a single colour print (not using Palette), and adjusting your style profile (if necessary) based on the single colour print results.

For the Bowden tube value, it will be the approximate length from where you insert your filament to your nozzle. You can over estimate this value, as all it represents is the amount of extra filament that will be added to the end of your prints to make sure they finish.
