Multi-colour printing means that Palette can use 4 input filament colors to create a model with your 3D printer that has these 4 colours in it. The same can be said for multi-material printing, where this applies to the use of filaments with different properties such as strength, conductance, or texture to name a few.

Palette does not blend these filaments to create these multi-color, multi-material models, but rather uses precise calculations to create spliced filaments which are then fed into your 3D printer. This provides high quality prints with minimum modifications to your printer! To learn more about Palette+'s multi-material capabilities, please see our Multi-Material guide for Palette +. To learn more about Palette 2's multi-material capabilities, please see our Multi-Material guide for Palette 2.
