DO I have to stay with Oktoprint on top of Klipper?

Hi!

I have printer with klipper well running. As i try to extend by palette2 I have activated the palette plugin.

Found USB FTDI port. But all time message :

Can not connect to Palette2.

Oktoprint and your server works fine, but if I like to extend with klipper, I loose the klipper screen.

Means, no Hardware defekt, just the direct connection klipper to Palette2 is going wrong.

Is there any update or do i have to stay with klipper and Octoprint on top. (Means no klipper screen)

Hi @jensm, it sounds like you are trying to do the PALETTE_CONNECT command which leads to error. Are you able to share a screenshot of the actions leading to this?

There is some discussion of a similar issue here. One user described rolling back to Python 2 in order to connect to P2, but I cannot verify if this will work for your issue.
