Palette 3 Pro compatible with Creality K1 Max?

Is the P3P compatible with the Creality K1 or K1 Max? If so, how can we set it up to include the K1 or K1 Max as printers in Canvas? Will we need to do anything specific to help it keep up with the speed of the printer?

Hi @jyezahn, thanks for contacting us. I can confirm that P3 Pro is compatible with the Creality K1 and K1 Max, but you will need to use Accessory Mode if the printer is unable to make a USB cable connection with Palette.

You can follow these instructions to import or create a printer profile in Canvas.

Regarding print speed, top speeds with P3 Pro are typically around 60-70mm/s, and potentially lower for prints with a lot of splices. You can experiment with our Slow Down While Splicing feature, which will adjust print speeds down only when a splice occurs. P3 Pro will not be able to print at the top speeds the K1 is capable of.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I now have my Palette 3 Pro running with my Ender 5 Plus with Klipper on the Sonic Pad. I run it at 240mm/s @7000 acceleration and the Palette keeps up just fine. This is great! It's fast enough for me to not want to replace it with something faster! :-)
