Canvas octoprint installer doesn't work in Octoprint Docker container

Trying to install Canvas octoprint plugin in a Pi with octoprint-docker (the official repo) and although the install succeeds (with a warning about using pip as root rather than a venv - which sounds like a problem!) the plugin doesn't actually show on server restart.

Hi @babelmonk, can you check Octoprint settings to see if you have this Canvas plugin reset option? If so, please give that a try before restarting Octorpint.

If that is not available, can you send the plugin mananger, software update and Octoprint logs?

No it's literally invisible. Nothing installed, although when trying the install again pip thinks it's there.

Would you be able to send the plugin manager, software update and octoprint logs to support@mosaicmfg.com? Thank you, and sorry about this!

I have a similar problem with Octoprint and my Palette 2. Everything was working fine before upgrading Octoprint to Python 3. Now when I install Canvas and Palette plugins the Canvas tab does not show up? If I try to connect through the Palette tab it tells me there is no serial port detected? I have removed the plugins and reinstalled in different orders but the Canvas tab will not show?
