How can I prevent incorrect filament run-out

Hi, I just got my palette 3 Pro returned (the cutter needed replacement due to it being the original cutter, which mosaic did without any problems). I managed to print the salamander perfectly. No color bleedings or nothing. On my second (and 3rd and 4th) try the colors were off, but more important around 30% of the print, it indicated that the filament ran out. It looks like the retraction from the filament was a bit too far (so it could not be grabbed again). When reloading it quickly had the same problem. The pings/pongs are around 100% (+- 1%).

Can i reduce the retraction on filament switch to avoid this problem, or what should i be doing to avoid this issue?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @pwmfranken62, we're glad to hear you're back up and running with printing.

Some of our customers use this printable adapter to help prevent this from happening, as an extra guide for the filament. It can be used with any standard 4mm OD PTFE for each input.
