The palette 3 pro splices keep breaking in the buffer tube

The splices like to break going into the curve just after the buffer tube and before the encoder wheel.

I've tried doing some splice tuning, and updating canvas with those values, however it doesn't look like its affecting anything.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for getting in touch about this. It definitely sounds like you need to do some more splice tuning, as it seems like your splices are brittle at the moment. What filament are you using, and what splice settings currently?

You can try increasing the heat factor by one unit at a time, testing the splice after each increase. For every increase of 1 heat you should also increase cooling by 1 increment to counteract this.

Please feel free to send us pictures of your splices to support@mosaicmfg.com so we can advise you on how to improve them.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Guy
