Does the Artemis work with Palette Pro 3 in Connected Mode?

As a middle school STEM instructor, I was extremely excited to purchase the Palette Pro 3. The ability to provide my students with multi-colored prints had me jazzed!

However, I have been unable to print in Connected Mode using the Palette Pro 3 with any of my current printers: Dremel 3D45, Flashforge Creator Pro, or Monoprice Voxel.

We have just purchased a Flashforge Artemis printer. Looking on your Printer Compatibility, the Artemis is not on there. However, with the Artemis just being released, I thought I would ask about it's compatibility.

Thanks

Ron

Hi Ron,

Thanks for your question. Flashforge printers in the past haven't been usable in connected mode, as you say, because they can't accept G-code files. Looking at the specs for the new Flashforge Artemis, it doesn't look as though it can read G-code files either. However, once you receive the printer you can inspect this - if it can, then you will be able to use it in connected mode. If not, you will have to continue using accessory mode.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Guy
