The Bowden tube length is not accounted for in your Printer Profile. If you're using a Bowden printer (like the CR-10), you'll need to include the length of Bowden tubing so that Palette can create enough filament to finish a print. Because of this, we suggest measuring the distance from your filament feed to the tip of your hot end, then adding another 10-20 mm for insurance. Once measured, add this length to your Printer Profile in Chroma and/or CANVAS.

Is it necessary to recalibrate again after changing the Bowden tube length in CANVAS?

@plofstof Thanks for your question. You should not have to run the calibration keychain again after changing the Bowden tube length, as this value only adds filament to the end of the print to make sure it finishes. The keychain is responsible for calculating the distance between Palette and the nozzle (called the loading offset), which is used at the beginning of each print.
