Hello everyone!
Today i sucessfully made a keychain calibration with cero problems. But, when i try another model slicing with canvas, my printer always get clogged at the same spot. I can print perfectly at one color slicing on cura or another program.
Do yo have any idea of what could be happening?
I’m ussing a Palette 2 pro
My printer is MP103D from monoprice

Hey @rafaelgutierrez, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble. If you experience a clog in your extruder only when printing with Palette, this is likely because the splices made by Palette are too fat, or there is a small clog in your extruder itself (the un-spliced filament might be fine to pass through, but the splices might be just a little too fat to get through the clog).
The best way to figure this out would be to run splice tuning (instructions here). Once you find the right splice settings for your filament, measure the diameter of these splices - are they 1.75 mm ± 0.1 mm? If so, then your splices are good and you can proceed with a print. If the clog still persists, then it might be a clog in your extruder. If the splices are not within those parameters, please let us know and we can take a look at your splice settings. I tried the splice tunning, even i change the PTFE tube from the splice core. This help a lot with the splice quality but the problem keeps happening. I tried to print at one color mode with the palette in accesory mode and happens again. If i try the same slicing with cura, i can print perfectly. I belive that maybe the problem is on canvas. Even when i'm using the exactly configuration in both programs my printer gets clogged using the palette.
Hey Rafael, thanks for letting us know. It is unlikely that CANVAS would be causing the clog in the extruder, as the only thing that can cause a clog on Palette's side are fat splices. However, if you share your CANVAS project (instructions here: mm3d.co/canvas-sharing), we can take a look at the settings just to make sure. Please make sure to share the material profile with the splice settings, as well as the model and printer profile.
What are your splice settings? Did you measure the diameter of your splices after running splice tuning? Were they 1.75 +/- 0.1 mm?
