Why is the only response to an error is to abort the job?

I have a Prusa printer. When it runs out of filament, it pauses, retracts the head and allows me to load new filament. Then it picks up where it left off. Why can’t the Palette 3 pro do the same thing instead of quitting and causing a useless waste of both time and filament.

Is anyone else upset about this?

Definitely, multi-spool mode has only just been added (albeit limited to PLA with no material settings), and basic run-out detection is still missing to my understanding. This is definitely an advertised feature that makes me consider the P3 and P3P to be an undelivered product at best, false advertising at worst. Getting an understanding of software development plans has been pulling teeth at the best of times.
