Canvas & Palette 3 Pro 8 Color Torture Test
Hi,
I’ve had difficulty getting a 2 color cylinder to print without falling out of calibration or bleeding. The object is a tube with embedded text. The text follows the contour of the inner and outer walls of the tube so all edges of the cylinder and text are smooth/even. I used Can(not)vas to slice and the resulting print is not good. Over time the color shifts so badly the text is not readable. I stopped using my P3P right before Thanksgiving. I am waiting until the firmware is updated but in the interim I created what I feel is a good Palette 3 / Canvas torture test for this scenario.
It is an 8 color print consisting of a tube/cylinder with the words color 1, color 2, color 3, color 4, color 5, color 6, color 7 embedded vertically around the circumference of the tube. The tube makes up the eighth color. Each color is its own model. The text models are embedded through the cylinder and all surfaces are flush.
I would love to see Mosaic (or anyone else) print this to see how it should be done/sliced in Canvas for the Palette 3 Pro.
I uploaded the models to Thingiverse. They can be found here:

Is this a good question?
