Hi Khalid! If you take a look at this setup video, you will see how Palette 3 can be setup with the Ender 5 Pro. We use the tube clip provided with Palette.

Thank you for answering my query and for sharing the installation guide. I forgot to mention that I have micro Swiss direct drive installed? would the shared setup works too.

If the printer has been converted to direct drive, you may be able to position the provided tube clip on the top of the extruder instead. You can certainly update with a photo of the extruder and we can provide further guidance from there.

This article also includes the video for the direct drive setup: http://mm3d.co/p3-connected

Hi there.

I have done this setup video on my ender 5 +. Tha problem is that it is missing some filament at the ende of the print. When it hits 94 % printed it runs out. Seems like it is forgetting it has to fill up the bowden tube after te last color. How can I fix this.

Hi @paul - in your Canvas printer settings, can you check your Bowden tube length? It's in the 'Extruder' tab. If in doubt, please make this length a little longer rather than shorter. If you'd like us to take a look, you can share a link to your Canvas project here, or at support@mosaicmfg.com

Hi there @guyelston.

I have now checked my setup and it is 80cm from the mosaic to my extruder and 82cm from my extruder to the nozzle.

I have set the value to 90cm from my extruder to the hotend.

When i try to print the keychain it change to the last color but the filamnet who comes out after the last splice is abot 8 to10 cm instead of about 40 cm that it should be as i have teste to manually feed the extruder after the last piece form the mosaic has gone into the extruder.

I need help to tell me how to make that link you are requesting.

Regards

Paul - Arild

Also it ask for what kind of firmware I'm using on my printer. I thought I used Marlin. But that ain't on the list so I choose 5D absolute. Is this correct or do I have to choose one of the other on that list?

Hi @paul - the share button is in the top right of your Canvas project. Please tick the boxes to share your printer profile and project settings too.

Please also share a picture of your calibration data screen on Palette, under: Printers > Your printer > Edit calibration data

If you can send both of these to support@mosaicmfg.com, that would be great!

Hi @guyelston

Thanks for answering me.

I have set the length form the Extruder to the hotend to 900 mm even though the measured length is only 820mm.

I will try make that link to you as soon as i get home from work.

Hi @guyelston

I am facing the same problem as Paul. I am also using an ender 5+. What did you suggest paul to solve this problem?

Thanks,

Lux

HI @lux, I would recommend the following:

- checking your Loading Offset and adjusting this on Palette if needed (Printers > Your printer > Edit calibration data)

- checking that you have your Bowden tube length set in Canvas in your printer profile, in the Extruder tab

If you continue to have issues, please contact us at support@mosaicmfg.com with details and a picture of your setup!
