Setup Prusa Mini - Remove bowden tube?

So far setting up my Palette 3 Pro has not been what I would call easy. The on screen directions are a bit lacking. Now that I have a velcro tab stuck in what is probably the wrong place the screen tells me to put one of your tubes into my extruder. Do I have to remove my Prusa’s Bowden tube input to the extruder. I’m using a Bondtech however it inputs filament in the same place with the same tube.

Hey Jason, on our setup, we removed the filament sensor along with the tube that goes into the extruder drive, then plugged the Palette in directly there.

Hi Jason,

I am not using a Prusa printer or a bowden extruder setup but I am using a BondTech that had a Capricorn PTFE tube feeding it. It was extremely easy to get the P3P connected to the Bondtech. No clip is required. Just remove your existing PTFE tube and use either of the two tubes that came with your P3P. Mosaic recommends using the shortest one your setup allows.

Here’s a pic for reference.
