I didn´t find a way to restart the calibration. So I did a reset. Print is finish in 8 min and it looks fine! - well done!

My Palette 3 Pro never gave me an option to start a calibration test and I have restarted it twice. How do I start one because I can keep getting failures, under extrusions, low pings, color transitions never line up to how I paint my model. I spent $900 for this machine and its the biggest pain. It cost more than my Printer. I spent the same amount on the New Anker Make and the Bambu Labs printer, but this Palette is not user friendly by any means when setting it up. some of the instructions dont make sense and seem outdated. I need help Mosaic!!

The sooner you realize you purchased a 1k paperweight, the sooner you can move on.

by

Hahaha and that’s exactly what it is now.

Sorry for any confusion and the delay in our response. Palette 3 doesn't require a specific calibration print like previous versions. If you're having calibration issues, it would be most helpful to share pictures of your setup and prints along with ping/pong information as this will allow us to better diagnose where the problem may be happening.

@element3designs I'll be more than glad to help. In order to print the test keychain, you must set up a printer profile in our slicer software Canvas. Here (Getting Started with CANVAS for Palette) are instructions on how to create a new printer profile, and you can add your Palette 3 as a device using the 'Add Device' button. From there you will be prompted to print the calibration keychain. Additionally, you can also find the Mosaic Calibration Keychain here (mm3d.co/keychain) to download and upload to Canvas. Hope this helps!

Same issue here. Makes no sense that when you reset it, then you can do the keychain calibration print. Otherwise if it fails you have to go and send it from canvas. The design choices this company has made on some of this is beyond my comprehension and frustrating.

So people need to factory reset??? is this acceptable?

by

No, you just clear the build plate and restart the print. Same process as if a print fails without a Pallet, only arguable additional step is to clear the Pallet output, which I'm pretty sure the device suggests when canceling the print.

by

@thatguy Okay but how do you restart the print? I'm currently sitting at home screen of Palette, without a way to select the option to calibrate.

by

@jorank If your at the home menu, the green "Start Print" should take you to the uploaded files for you to launch a print. The calibration key-chain is just a model well documented to get working correctly before moving to more complicated models.

by

@thatguy I see, I thought I could acces the file somewhere on the printer as a build in file on the device, but I had to download the .stl
