Can't get P3P to connect to WiFi

I am having trouble getting my P3P connected to WiFi. I can see the network in the list and I can enter the password but the P3P does not join. When I look at the devices connected to my router, I do NOT see it in the list or an IP address allocated to the P3P.

When I powered the P3P on for the first time, I used the setup assistant and entered my WiFi credentials. It then joined the network and checked for a firmware update. It did not download the update but rather forced me to install the firmware update via USB. There was no option to download via WiFi which was odd because this was the only time my router showed the P3P in the attached devices list with an IP address. Again, this was at the very first boot of the P3P using the assistant. I also could not proceed further. There was no main menu or other option screen or any apparent way to continue without updating. It was basically forcing me to update. After upgrading the firmware via USB, I was able to continue and get to the main screen.

The P3P communicates with my printer via USB without issue but I cannot get the P3P to connect to WiFi so I have to export the .msfx file from my PC to a USB drive and walk it over to the printer which is a good distance away. I imported my printer profiles from Simplify3D into Canvas and successfully printed a perfect demo keychain so everything is calibrated and ready to go.

The main menu screen says “No Internet” in red letters.

Is there a way to forget a network and rejoin it or some other way to manage the networks? I am using the latest firmware release (v21.11.04.0). Note, after trying this unsuccessfully for about an hour, I performed a factory reset and updated the firmware again but the issue remains.

Please advise.

One thing I forgot to mention is the WiFi network in the list I am trying to join does turn green a few seconds after entering the password but it does not get an IP address and says No Internet in red letters. When I try and connect to a different network, the new network turns green in the list and the old one turns black indicating a connection has been made to the network but the P3P does not get an IP address. Hence, "No Internet"

My P3P is now connected to the wifi network and can discovered/controlled by Canvas. The only thing I did was leave the P3P unplugged AND disconnected from the printer overnight. When I turned it on this morning it connected to the network and now lists the network name in green on the main screen. It had never done that before. I am not sure if powering the unit off for an extended period was the solution but I do know my P3P is now connected. :-)

I have a similar problem: one network is selected and password entered, nothing seems to happen…

However, I am behind a proxy…
