Can Canvas be used to colour infill?

Hello, I was looking to potentially buy a palette 3 but I can’t quite determine if it will do what I want it to. I want to print objects with a clear material on the outside and a coloured material on the inside. I think it could look really interesting to have a cubic style infill that is coloured, say blue, inside a clear shell.

So essentially, can canvas be used to separate materials based on infill, walls, perimiters, etc instead of just painting outer surfaces?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey David, Palette will use the last transitioned color as the infill of an object, but for your purposes, you would likely need to design the model to have an outer shell for the transparent material, then an inner STL for the coloured portion. Once that’s done, you can assign the colors to each body.
