Can the Pallette Pro 3 be set up with the filament feeds in the top

Due to space constraints I would like to set up the Pallette Pro 3 with the 8 filament inputs at the top, the outgoing at the bottom and the screen rotated. Is that doable or not? Rick

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I am returning my Palette. New filament directly out of the package, old filament, different brands, the breakage is always at the join line. It even breaks in the Palette which is a mess. Tuning? Sure but can’t get it to Canvas to work. 321 are the settings but they seem to do away.

The touchscreen is “insensitive” you have to sometimes sit and wait for it to be responsive.

The other issue is work flow - Canvas will not put the Palette online and, trying to slice a project, no matter what it is, just hangs. Even the keychain.

It is going back for a refund.

My other workflow, through Octopi, works fine.

It is too bad but either I am really messed up or this product is not ready for prime time. I think the latter.

Since no one answered I will: yes it can. On to the next frustration l 5 days in I still can’t get a calibration print to work as the splices break feeding to the printer.

Moral of the story: if you want answers you most likely have to get them yourself. I am truely disappointed at this point at the lack of clarity, really no knowledgebase to speak of. another week of this and it is going back for a refund.

How did you end up doing it? Using the factory stand or mounted it on something else?

I'm not with my P3, but I thought I saw display rotation on the display. I found this for the P2. Should be able to.

You might need to make sure your filament is dry if it breaks in the palette. If it is dry and not brittle, you can mess with your splice settings. I would play around with compression and heating, maybe put heating +1.

Also, I had the same issue but my printer is in my cold garage. I've put the lid back on in hopes that it insulates it a little. I hope it helps!

Hey Rick,

I apologize both for the delay in response as well as the problem you are facing. The touchscreen issue is something our team is currently working to rectify. Additionally, sorry, do you mean that your Palette will not connect to the Internet?

If you find that the filament is breaking, do you mind ensuring that the thumbscrews around the filament path are tightened properly?

Werent part of the delays due to Mosaic making sure QC was up to snuff on these? You have these things being delivered with severe firmware problems that prevent them from being useable... completely unacceptable... You all have had most of the year to figure this out and now your end users are your guinea pigs.
