Have I lost calibration?

I had the palette 2 working ok until yesterday. I swapped out a different filament and now it is not splitting the colors up correctly.

I did an earbud holder and 2 of the 3 ended up mixing.

A few days ago I accidentally smashed a Z end stop switch and had to replace it. I then needed to relevel the bed and redo my z offset.

Could this have caused my calibration for the palette 2 to go out of whack? If so, how can I fix it? I don't want to start from scratch again.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey Sean, whenever there’s a physical change to your printer’s hardware, it’s always a good idea to re-calibrate your Palette. Are you getting pings from this print? If so, could you please share these with us?

This is what happened before the earbud test.

Your pings look very good, but re-doing the z-offset may have affected the flow of filament, causing some of the issues that you’re seeing. A re-calibration does require a factory reset, but I would suggest attempting another print with increased Transition Lengths to see if the issue persists before going the re-calibration route.

Did you see my below results?

Couple of things.

1) sliced this earbud holder in canvas. (Forgot I did the other in prusaslicer with p2pp).

2) looks better but there is a little bleed from red into green. Maybe just red needs longer transition?

3) Gumbo was sliced with canvass using the sake settings. As you can see the gold is all over the place but red ok.

4) inputs haven't changed.

Hey Sean, we have seen in the past that red and black have stronger dyes, so longer transitions would be recommended. You could also try variable transitions (mm3d.co/p2variable-transitions) in order to save filament waste.
